This forest was part of a pilot trying to help real estate in Bali adopt regenerative practices. A big goal for this project was to involve the surrounding community as much as possible. So, they invited the local school to join in on the planting.
It was very exciting to join a group of like minded organisations, to help develop a nature friendly house. We hope this can become an example for others to follow. The location of this forest is in Babakan, Bali. For a bird, the distance is quite short from the two forests in Seseh and Cemagi.
The site was next to a body of water, so they wanted the forest to function as a riparian wall. For this reason, the forest is based on trees growing close to rivers.
